This fascinating event tackles the important issue of food waste, and how we can use innovation to prevent the global food system destroying the planet. In partnership with the UAE-UK Business Council and Sheraa, the Emirates Society brought together distinguished speakers and panellists from across the UK and the UAE to discuss various aspects of the topic.
In his closing remarks, The Emirates Society’s chairman, Alistair Burt, noted the importance of the event in highlighting the key issues around food waste. He also emphasised the importance of the UAE-UK relationship in finding solutions for combatting food waste, and other important global challenges that the world faces.
